VIH Statistics on HIV/STD Morbidity, Prevalence, Behaviours and Clinical Monitoring

Information on population incidence is obtained from individualized notification bulletins, for sexually transmitted infections, information comes from clinical declarations and microbiological notifications. Information on prevalence and behaviors associated with the transmission of HIV and other STIs in sentinel population groups comes from screenings carried out on these populations and from the systematic collection of manual information. Finally, information on clinical monitoring is obtained from laboratory diagnostic activity notification bulletins and follow-up studies of patients under treatment.
