The Statistics on the Employability of University Graduates provides information on the employability in Catalonia of university graduates from Catalan universities. Employability is analysed based on the affiliations to Social Security, disseminating its characteristics in the graduation year and the following five years. The Statistics includes results on the employability rate and the cumulative employability rate in Catalonia, as well as on the salaried degree, level of part-time work and level of temporary contract, among others. Characteristics of the first employment relationship after graduation are also examined.
This Statistics is the result of the collaboration between the Statistical Institute of Catalonia (Idescat) and the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU), and it was launched with the aim of providing information on employability and employment quality of university graduates for those years in which AQU does not carry out its triennial Survey on Employability of Graduates from Catalan Universities.
It analyses cohorts of graduates holding a bachelor's degree starting from 2012/2013 school year.
