Official name change of the municipality of Palamós, now named Palamós i Sant Joan

On 22 September, the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC) published Resolution PRE/3315/2026 of 17 September, giving approval to the change of name of the municipality of Palamós, which is now named Palamós i Sant Joan.

Idescat incorporated this change into the Territorial and entity codes section, which makes up the official Catalan geonomenclature, and shall be in force from the date of its publication in the DOGC (Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia).
