Industrial Price Index. 06/2026

The industrial products price index (base 2021=100), which does not include energy, increased by 3.1% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in June 2026.

During the same period the Industrial Price Index (which includes energy) increased by 5.9% compared with the same month of the previous year. By large industrial sectors, energy increased by 16.7%, intermediate goods by 8.2% and capital goods by 2.5%; on the other hand, prices of consumer goods decreased by 1.0%.

Moreover, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases in prices were registered in the metallurgy, manufacture of basic iron, steel and ferroalloy products (16.9%) and in chemical industries (14.4%). On the other hand, the only price decrease is registered in the manufacture of other transport equipment (−0.8%).
