Industrial Price Index. 10/2025

The industrial products price index (base 2021=100), which does not include energy, increased by 0.5% in year-over-year terms in Catalonia in October 2025.

During the same period the Industrial Price Index (which includes energy) increased by 0.4% compared with the same month of the previous year. By large industrial sectors, prices of consumer goods increased by 2.1% and those of capital goods by 1.6%; on the other hand, prices of intermediate goods decreased by 1.8% and energy prices by 0.3%.

Moreover, by industrial divisions, the most significant increases in prices were registered in the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (3.8%) and in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products (3.3%). By contrast, the most significant decreases in prices were registered in chemical industries (−5.0%) and in metallurgy, manufacture of basic iron, steel and ferroalloy products (−2.9%).
