Consumer Price Index. 07/2024

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.9% on a year-over-year basis in Catalonia in July 2024. All groups showed positive rates of change, except communications (−0.2).The groups with the highest inflation were hotels, cafés and restaurants (4.3%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.5%) and education (3.3%).

In this period, the core inflation (general index without unprocessed food and energy products) was also 2.9% in Catalonia.
