Retail Trade Index. 05/2024

The General Retail Trade Index (ICD) without service stations, at current prices, increased by 3.7% year-over-year in Catalonia in May 2024. By product type and activity, food increased by 2.4% and the rest of products by 4.8%. During the same period, the General Retail Trade Index with service stations, at current prices, increased by 3.8% compared to one year ago.

At constant prices (i.e. eliminating the effect of prices) the retail trade index without service stations increased by 0.9% year-over-year.
