ENE

These statistics have a specific section with all the information available: Energy Balance (ENE).

Methodological note

The indicator measures the energy end-use in an area excluding all non-energy use of energy vectors (e.g. oil derivatives that are not used for combustion but for producing chemicals). "Final energy consumption" only covers the energy consumed by end users, such as industry, transport, households, services and the primary sector; it excludes energy consumption of the energy sector itself and losses occurring during transport and distribution of energy.

The data in the whole time series are revised annually.
