Methodological note
The statistics on housing rentals are based on the Register of Deposits for Urban Property Rental Contracts held by the Catalan Land Institute (Incasòl). These statistics are census-based, as they rely on the exhaustive count of rental contracts for which the deposit was made with Incasòl during the reference period.
These are quarterly statistics providing information on the number of rental contracts formalised and the average monthly rental price.
