Methodological note
The registration of industrial vehicles is a traditional investment indicator that is closely linked the economic cycle in companies.
These statistics are drawn up using the provincial information for vehicle registration issued by the Directorate General of Traffic. Industrial vehicle means lorries and tractor units. Lorry means any vehicle designed and built to transport objects (three-wheeled motorcycles with a tare of not less than 400 kg are excluded). Tractor unit means any vehicle designed and built mainly to pull a semi-trailer.
