Methodological note

The Spanish Nationality Acquisition of Residents statistics aim primarily to provide a quantitative measure of acquisitions of Spanish nationality during the reference year.

These statistics are compiled on the basis of the statistical processing of nationality case registrations from the Civil Registry carried out by the National Statistics Institute (INE) since 2013.
