Methodological note

Methodological aspects

The data for the Publishing production in Catalan facilities by the Minister of Culture, who come from the data at the disposal of the Spanish ISBN agency (Ministery of Education, Culture and Sport), based on the titles published by Spanish publishers who apply for an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). The ISBN is a numerical system that serves to identify the title and the edition of a work published by a particular publishing house by a unique, exclusive number.

When the value is lower than that of the minimum unit to be able to estimate the statistical operation or if it effects statistical confidentiality, the symbol used is "..".
