Methodological note

Methodological aspects

The data from the climatology is taken from the Meteorological Service of Catalonia from the Ministry of Territory and Sustainability.

It also includes a table showing the average seawater temperature at different depths, measured from an observation point on l'Estartit on the Costa Brava (1 mile east of Medes Islands; Coordinates: 42º 03' N, 3º 15' E).

When the value is lower than that of the minimum unit to be able to estimate the statistical operation or if it effects statistical confidentiality, the symbol used is "..".
