Indicators of Hotel Sector Profitability. 08/2024

The average daily rate (ADR) in hotel establishments increased by a year-over-year 6.5% in Catalonia in August 2024 and stood at 144.88 euros. As far as tourism brands, Barcelona, Costa Daurada and Costa Brava showed the highest values (169.43 euros, 147.37 euros and 144.79 euros, respectively), positive rates of variation of 4.1%, 8.1% and 4.8%, respectively.

On the other hand, the revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 7.3% compared to the same month of the previous year and stood at 122.79 euros, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey.
