ECVHP Survey on Living Conditions and Habits of the Population

The Survey on Living Conditions and Habits of the Population is a survey of Catalan households and their members.

The main objectives of this survey are to learn more about the income, living conditions and habits of the population. Other objectives include a study of social and territorial differences and the changes in the lifestyle of the population.

This survey is performed every five years and is territorially broken down by areas, provinces and the city of Barcelona.

Idescat is responsible for this Survey, together with the Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies of Barcelona, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and the Barcelona Provincial Council.
