Annual Economic Accounts for Catalonia. 2025. Advance of the GDP

Catalonia's gross domestic productr ecorded an annual growth of 2.7% in 2025, according to the advance estimate. This figure represents a decrease of nine tenths compared to 2024 (3.6%).

All sectors of activity registered positive annual rates of change, particularly construction and agriculture.

Industry grew by 1.8%, two points and one tenth less than in the previous year (3.9%); services by 3.0%, a growth of one point and one tenth lower than in 2024 (4.1%); construction grew by 5.3%, three points and six tenths higher than in the previous year (1.7%); and agriculture also showed a favourable performance, with an increase of 7.2%, three points higher than in 2024 (4.2%).

The Annual Advance of the GDP incorporates a first estimate of the GDP, calculated from the aggregation of the four quarters of the Quarterly Advance of the GDP. This provisional estimate will be updated on 20 March, when the Annual Economic Accounts for Catalonia are published.
