Statistics on Campsite Activity. Q4/2025 and year 2025. Provisional data

The number of overnight stays spent at campsites in Catalonia increased by 9.2% in the fourth quarter of 2025 on the year-over-year data, according to the provisional data from the Campsite Occupancy Survey.

As to the country of origin, the number of overnight stays of domestic tourists increased by 7.9%: tourism from Catalonia increased by 5.3% and the tourism from the rest of Spain by 50.3%; with regards to the foreign tourism increased by 10.4%.

Furthermore, the year-over-year figures for the number of travellers registered at campsites increased by 9.4%.

In 2025, the number of overnight stays in campsites increased by 4.5% in Catalonia, according to provisional data from the Campsite Occupancy Survey.

Regarding the origin of the travellers, overnight stays of domestic tourism increased by 4.3%: those of Catalan travelers increased by 0.6% and those of travelers from the rest of Spain increased by 25.6%. Overnight stays of foreign tourism increased by 4.6% compared to a year ago. On the other hand, there was an increase of 2.5% in the number of travellers in comparison to 2024.
