Large Store Sales Index. 04/2024

The Large Store Sales Index (IVGS) of Catalonia at current prices increased by 0.4% in April 2024 compared to the same month of 2023. By product group, the increase was recorded in sales of non-food products (2.1%), while food sales decreased (−1.1%).

At constant prices (i.e., eliminating the effect of prices) the index showed a year-over-year decrease of 2.9%. Food sales decreased by 5.0% and those of other products by 0.4%.
