These statistics have a specific section with all the information available: Energy Balance (ENE).

Methodological note

The indicator measures the share of renewable energy consumption in gross final energy consumption according to the Renewable Energy Directive. The gross final energy consumption corresponds to the energy used by end-consumers (final energy consumption) plus grid losses and the power plants' own consumption. Final energy consumption includes the energy consumption of olefin plants (production of plastic raw materials).

The data in the whole time series are revised annually.
