Methodological note
This indicator measures the share of persons aged 0–17 who are living in households where no one works.
The definitions apply to persons living in private households. Persons carrying out obligatory military service are not included.
Unemployed persons are all persons 15 to 74 years of age who were not employed during the reference week, who had actively sought work during the four weeks prior to the survey and were ready to begin working immediately or within two weeks (of the survey).
In the case of Catalonia and Spain, the data com from the INE's Labour Force Survey. In this sphere, the active population (numerator) is 16 to 74 years of age.
